9Class criticizes new hero Largo: This hero is terrible

With the release of the new hero Largo in Dota 2, renowned professional player 9Class went all out during a live stream, harshly criticizing Largo's design philosophy.

During a recent Twitch stream, 9Class made no secret of his dislike for the new hero, Largo. Largo's core mechanics require players to press buttons at specific times, similar to rhythm games like Guitar Hero. 9Class found this design extremely uncomfortable.

“This hero is absolutely terrible,” 9Class said during the live stream. “What drives me crazy is that when a team fight is about to break out and the situation is critical, I still have to keep my eyes on the screen to make sure I’m playing the guitar correctly.”

In the cutthroat world of professional esports, this mandatory mini-game mechanism clearly adds an extra cognitive burden. 9Class frankly admitted, "I absolutely don't want to play this ridiculous stuff."

“Everyone will pick him because he’s in Captains Mode. While he’s certainly useful in competitive play, want me to play him in Public Match? No way. Am I supposed to be jumping around like him with my ultimate ability active? I’d rather play Treant Protector.”

This sentiment of preferring the relatively simple "big tree" heroes to the new ones vividly reflects 9Class's resistance to Largo's cumbersome mechanics.
