Iraola says Bournemouth's squad is in ideal condition, having had a good rest.

Bournemouth, nicknamed "The Cherries," will travel to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal, nicknamed "The Gunners," in the 32nd round of the 2025/26 Premier League season. Andoni Iraola stated that the previously injured players have made good use of the break to regain their form, but Kluivert and Lewis Cook still need a longer recovery period.

Bournemouth managed a 2-2 draw against Manchester United in their last Premier League match, thanks to goals from Ryan Christie and Klupi. After five consecutive draws, Bournemouth currently sit 13th in the table with 42 points.

Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola said, "Our current injured players are Kluivert and Lewis Cook. Lewis Cook's recovery time is taking longer than we expected, and he is not ready yet. However, I think everyone else is available. Some players, like Julio Soler, are not yet able to play many minutes, but he has been training with the team, and I think he has recovered."

"As for Tyler Adams and Ben Doc, they used this break to make themselves competitive again. I think we are in a good position now, and we may even face the dilemma of making choices because we will have more than 20 players available to travel with the team."

Andoni Iraola also stated, "Klupi and Alex Jimenez had some minor injuries when they returned from the national team, but now it's more of a precaution. They've had rest and adjustments here, and are fully recovered for tomorrow's match."

Furthermore, Arsenal currently remain in first place in the standings with 70 points.

Speaking about the squad, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said, "Eze is available to play; his recovery has progressed faster than expected. I first spoke to him after he started feeling unwell, and he wanted to play next week, but we knew that was impossible."

"But from day one, he showed a strong desire to return to the court as soon as possible and kept urging the medical team to help him get into a condition where he could play, which is very gratifying."

Arteta continued, "Merino is also the kind of person who keeps pushing his limits. He has taken off his protective boot and started a lot of training. His recovery after surgery is going very well, and he is not in any pain."

“Further evaluation by the medical team is needed, but I believe there is an opportunity to shorten the recovery period. If anyone can do that, it will be Merino.”
