League of Legends welcomes "Brawl" team deathmatch gameplay

Following the launch of the popular "Arena" mode, Riot Games continues to develop diverse gameplay for "League of Legends". With the launch of version 25.10, the new rotating limited-time mode "Brawl" officially debuted, taking over the third round of the Arena, becoming another "fast-paced, heavy-operation" lightweight combat experience.

Brawl continues the design concept of Arena, emphasizing fast battles and core gameplay fun, but pays more attention to the "low strategy, high intensity" game rhythm. The Riot development team admitted in the official blog that the design of this mode is to "provide a space for players of all levels to have fun and relax", especially those newcomers who want to try LOL in a less complicated environment.

Brawl is called "the League of Legends version of team deathmatch", in which players can focus on operations and fight happily without having to deeply understand complex mechanisms such as runes, rhythm and economic systems. As Riot said, "Summoner's Rift requires mastering a lot of mechanisms... not everyone is suitable."

Although the original intention was to lower the threshold and improve entertainment, Brawl sparked widespread discussion among players as soon as it was launched. On the one hand, many players welcomed the changes brought about by this new gameplay and actively put forward suggestions for improvement; on the other hand, many feedback pointed out that Brawl was too similar to the permanent relaxed mode "ARAM" and lacked freshness.

Currently, Brawl is still in the experimental stage and is Riot's attempt to respond to players' calls for "scarcity of new modes." The mode is expected to remain open until June 4, 2025, the day when version 25.13 is launched.
