Riot Games reveals League of Legends patch release schedule for 2025

League of Legends is about to enter its 15th season, and Riot Games has also announced a complete patch release plan for 2025. According to the latest naming rules, the patch version number uses the format of "year.season.patch number", for example, 25.S1.3 represents the third patch of the first season of 2025. According to the plan, the 25.S1.3 patch will be released on February 5, 2025. The following are the changes that will be made in the 25.S1.3 patch:
Hero Changes: Mel
After the hotfix, Meir's win rate growth has leveled off. Her kit is intuitive and players will master it over time (e.g. stacking, playing around her W). As such, no further balance adjustments are planned for her in this patch, as she is currently in a good state while we observe how players learn.
Equipment Changes: Support Equipment
Riot Games is working to strike a balance between maintaining appropriate support strength (and the impact on ADC satisfaction) and not reducing support role satisfaction. These nerfs are mainly aimed at high-damage support items to reduce the overall amount of damage in the game. Although the current damage level is not higher than Season 14, it does not mean that it cannot be appropriately reduced.
System Changes: Bounty Mechanism
Riot Games has further reduced the value of bounties earned when a single player on the trailing team attempts to turn the tide through their own abilities.
Attack speed limit
Slightly increased the attack speed cap to 3.0. Riot Games doesn't want to increase it too much, as it would make it too difficult to control high attack speed heroes.
Elemental Dragon Soul
Made minor balance adjustments to the Elemental Dragon Souls. Although most players consider the Wind Dragon Soul the weakest, high-level players know that it is actually the most powerful. On the other hand, the Alchemical Dragon Soul seems a bit weak on all levels.
Domination Runes
In version 25.S1.1, Riot Games removed a lot of adaptive power from the Domination runes by nerfing Eye Collector. Riot Games is partially compensating for this nerf by increasing the effects of all Domination keystone runes, but it will not be fully restored. Riot Games believes that it is still valuable to allow these assassin-type heroes to choose other keystone runes, so in these cases (such as Blue Kayn, Evelynn), Riot Games will also buff these heroes to compensate for their overall strength.
