Genoa announced on its official website on Sunday that the club has extended the contract of its Italian defensive midfielder Patrizio Masini.
According to Genoa's official statement, Masini has signed on a new three-and-a-half-year deal with the club which will run until the summer of 2028.
About Patrizio Masini
Patrizio Masini, 24, was born on January 27, 2001 in La Spezia, Italy. He primarily plays as a defensive midfielder and can also play as a right midfielder.
Masini joined Genoa's youth academy at the age of 11. After being promoted to the first-team in the summer of 2001, he was loaned-out to Sambenedettese, Lecco, Novara and Ascoli.
After returning to the club following his loan spell in the summer of 2024, Masini completed his Genoa first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in October of the same year.
So far this season, Masini has played 12 times for the Serie A club in all competitions and scored 1 goal.
