King of Glory Case Study: Yuanliu Support Takes on Two, Da Yu and Hua Mulan's Conjoined Twins Combination Fails.

Case studies and hero data research can get boring after a while. Even with tutorials, whether written or demonstrated in videos, the ultimate goal of playing King of Glory is real-world combat and on-the-spot reaction tests. Only then can you truly learn from experience and learn to play a hero well. A 30-minute match is indeed a repetitive game mode with the main objective of destroying the crystal, but each game presents opponents with different strategies. Even skilled players must adapt flexibly; one set of techniques may not be applicable in all combat situations.

There's a saying in the Rift: hero selection is more important than skill. Choosing the right team composition gives you an advantage far exceeding fancy movement abilities. Attribute counters and comprehensive counterplay make skill level irrelevant. Even if you can fly and teleport, you'll still lose to a lock-on attack. That's a straightforward understanding, right? Let's look at case one: the battle between teleportation mechanisms. With the arrival of Yu the Great this season, the Rift has gained another hero with teleportation skills, making it five in total, including Da Qiao, Liu Bang, Nuwa, and Nezha.

The chemical reaction is astonishing; the attack will bounce off the cauldron.

Our team has chosen Hou Yi, Arthur, Wang Zhaojun, and Zhuge Liang as junglers, to roam and fill in the gaps. How would you handle this? The enemy team has Da Yu, Shiranui Mai, Hua Mulan, Nezha, and Sun Shangxiang. The most direct information we get is that the enemy team focuses on mobility and teleportation, which puts our team at a disadvantage. Our advantage lies in control. Hou Yi's flying arrow, Arthur's silence, and Wang Zhaojun's freeze are all effective against a hero with strong map mobility. The strategy is to create a numerical advantage in the mid-game to counterattack. Simply put, divide and conquer, split our forces into two lanes, and use numbers to catch outnumbered opponents.

At this point, the correct approach for a replacement would be to counter teleportation, using a "fight fire with fire" strategy. If the enemy can fly, then I would switch to a flying Liu Bang, who can tank damage and generate a shield. Nezha could then teleport to the target he selects to provide support, thus avoiding a numerical disadvantage throughout the game. This is a good idea, but Liu Bang is relatively weak in the current version, making it difficult to protect teammates. To ensure a high margin of error, there are several other options, such as Zhang Fei, Su Lie, and Yuan Liu as support.

Finally, I chose Yuanliu as the support, and unexpectedly, it created a chemical reaction with Dayu's cauldron. The third skill bounces off his cauldron, forming a double-edged sword. If used well, it has a buff effect; if not, it blocks. The second skill is a magic circle with a small displacement, easily avoiding Hua Mulan's combo control.
