The Suzhou LNG League of Legends team announced on Tuesday that former LNG.A support player Zhang Jiahao (ID: OvO) has been promoted to the first team. It's unclear whether he will replace Wang Xuzhuo (ID: Zhuo) in the starting lineup for subsequent tournaments.
OvO initially joined the RNG esports club as a youth player in January 2024, subsequently representing the team in both the LDL Spring and Summer Splits of that year. He officially became a member of the LNG.A team in December 2024, and has since competed with the team in numerous tournaments, including the 2024 NEST National Esports Competition Finals, the 2025 LDL Stage 1 Championship Cup, and the 2025 Asia Masters Stage 1.
Regarding the decision to promote OvO to the first team, LNG stated in the announcement: "After full and friendly communication and consultation between the two parties, we would like to announce that former LNG.A player Zhang Jiahao (ID: LNG.OvO) has been promoted to the first team of the Suzhou LNG League of Legends division with immediate effect, and will play as a support in future competitions with us.
Since joining LNG.A, OvO has demonstrated remarkable individual strength and teamwork on the field. I believe that in future matches, OvO will be able to work closely with his teammates and shine in the LPL arena.
Welcome to OvO!
Let us work together to make progress and strive for a new round of goals!"
