Barcelona coach Hansi Flick urges players to stay alert to win

Barcelona host Benfica in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16, and despite Barcelona winning the first leg 1-0, coach Hansi Flick urged his players to remain vigilant.

At the pre-match press conference, Flick did not feel that the team had secured advancement to the quarterfinals. He said: "We must be 100% focused, and the best way is not to think about the score in the first leg. No one thinks we are sure to advance to the quarterfinals. We must win this game."

Flick also stressed that Benfica's strength should not be ignored: "Benfica is a great team, their coach is excellent, and they have always performed well away from home."

"We have to press Benfica more and defend well. In Lisbon, we saw their ability to counterattack, so we have to be alert."

Although Flick hopes that the players will remain vigilant, he is still very confident in them, saying: "The players have performed very well and have been very stable in recent games. We are confident about this game, but we need to maintain this momentum."
