PGL Astana 2025 Playoffs Reignite, All Teams Qualifying for the Quarterfinals Revealed

The PGL Astana 2025 "Counter-Strike 2" international competition is about to reach its climax. The eight top teams will officially start the playoffs on May 16 to compete for the US$200,000 championship prize.

The playoffs will be held at the Barys Arena in Astana, Kazakhstan for the first time, attracting enthusiastic attention from fans around the world. The group stage adopts the Swiss round system, which lasted for five days and ended successfully on May 14.

The teams that finally advanced to the quarterfinals were: Team Spirit, The MongolZ, NAVI, FURIA, Astralis, MIBR, NiP and Aurora Gaming. Among them, Team Spirit and The MongolZ advanced strongly with three consecutive wins, showing the potential of champions.

The playoffs will adopt a single-elimination system, with the first three rounds being best of three (Bo3) and the finals being best of five (Bo5), with the winner going straight to the championship.
