Leicester City manager Gary Rowett revealed Jordan James' physical condition ahead of the match against Swansea City.

Gary Rowett has provided an update on Jordan James' fitness ahead of the Swansea City match. The Welsh midfielder suffered an injury while on international duty last month and missed the Easter weekend games against Preston and Sheffield Wednesday. Leicester City secured two points from those two matches and remain in the Championship relegation zone.

The team's focus is now on their match against Swansea City at the King Power Stadium. The 21-year-old is expected to recover in time for the game, but further evaluation is still required.

Gary Rowett said, "Jordan James did some practice this morning, so we'll see how his body reacts afterwards. We hope he can play in this game, and if he can't, I'm pretty sure he'll return in the next game."

“We’ll see if this match came too early for him. We’ll give him the best possible recovery time, so we’ll make a careful decision. He injured his heel and landed awkwardly, which caused a severe bruise. This kind of injury can cause discomfort every time you run, slow down, or land.”

“It’s difficult to completely get rid of this effect before the injury is fully recovered, and even injuries that were not serious to begin with may be aggravated in the process. It makes no sense to let him play or try to let him participate until his condition has really improved.”

“The situation changes every day. We initially thought he would have a chance to play in the first game of the Easter schedule. Of course, given the short intervals between games, if he missed the first game, he might not be able to play in the second, which is exactly what happened. We had hope, but sometimes things are more unpredictable than expected.”

On the other hand, midfielder Aaron Ramsey is getting closer to returning to action. It has been over three months since his last appearance for Leicester City, and next week's away game against Portsmouth could be his comeback target.

Gary Rowett said: "Aaron Ramsey has received an injection, and we hope that will resolve the issue. We'll monitor his recovery. I think he'll definitely miss the weekend, but if his training goes well next week and the problem is resolved, he might have a chance to play against Portsmouth."

“Several players had minor injuries this morning, but we hope they are not serious. At this stage of the season, the training intensity is very high, and we must also remain competitive, so we can only hope that everyone can get through this period smoothly.”
