DOTA 2: BLAST SLAM IV Singapore will begin earlier due to a schedule clash with FISSURE Playground Season 2..

BLAST announced on its official website on Friday that BLAST SLAM IV Singapore will begin earlier due to a schedule clash with FISSURE Playground Season 2.

According to BLAST's official statement, the decision to adjust the BLAST SLAM IV Singapore schedule has been made, as the clash between FISSURE Playground Season 2 and BLAST SLAM IV Singapore has caused significant disruption to all teams.

The closed online group stage of BLAST SLAM IV Singapore will be moved forward from the original October 28th to November 2nd to October 14th to 19th. The offline play-offs, originally scheduled for November 7th to 9th at the 12,000-seat Singapore National Indoor Stadium, will remain unchanged.

Meanwhile, all sponsorships, partnerships, and prize pool details for the tournament remain unchanged. BLAST hopes this change will alleviate the inconvenience caused to teams and players worldwide who had to choose between FISSURE Playground Season 2 and BLAST SLAM IV Singapore.

Also, they hoped that this schedule change will mitigate the potential impact on players' physical and mental health from the strain of competing non-stop.

BLAST will work closely with FISSURE to minimize any potential issues and ensure the smooth running of both events.

BLAST SLAM is one of BLAST's largest DOTA 2 tournaments. The addition of a Singapore event was announced in May 2025.

BLAST SLAM IV Singapore will feature 12 top teams from around the world competing for a $1 million prize pool. Seven teams have already been announced.

The confirmed teams for BLAST SLAM IV Singapore are:

- TALON (host representative)

- Liquid (invited)

- Falcons (invited)

- PARAVISION (invited)

- Tundra (invited)

- Spirit (invited)

- HEROIC (Americas Qualifier)
