BLAST Slam IV scheduled for November in Singapore, with 12 top teams vying for a $1 million grand prize

BLAST announced that the fourth stop of the "Dota" series - BLAST Slam IV will be held from October 14 to November 9, and the offline finals will be held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium from November 7 to 9.


With a total prize pool of US$1 million, the tournament is the first major international event of the 2025-26 season and will feature 12 world-class teams competing in the event. This year's event features eight invited teams and four regional qualifying teams.


The invited lineup includes: Team Liquid, Team Falcons, Team Spirit, Tundra Esports, BetBoom Team, Heroic, and two substitute teams, namely MOUZ (replacing PARIVISION) and Execration (replacing Talon Esports).


The four qualifying teams are two teams each from Europe, China and Southeast Asia: Natus Vincere, Aurora Gaming, Yakult Brothers and Team Aureus.


The tournament will utilize the new 7.39e patch, allowing viewers to witness several teams debuting their revamped rosters. Team Liquid will introduce the Ace-tOfu duo to strengthen their off-lane, while Team Spirit will utilize the new five position, Pantomem. Meanwhile, MOUZ will feature the former EG trio of Abed, Fly, and Bulba, becoming a key focus.


BLAST Slam IV will be held in three stages. The first stage is a single-game round-robin tournament, with the top two teams advancing directly to the semifinals. Third to eighth place teams will advance to the playoffs, while ninth to twelfth place teams will advance to the last-chance elimination rounds. Finally, six teams will advance to the main event, where they will compete for the championship at a live event in Singapore.


The winning team will receive $400,000 in prize money and the first championship of the new season. With the roster officially revealed, this first battle of the new season is sure to reignite the excitement of Dota 2 competition.
