Is the substitution of a shooter being discriminated against? Marco Polo's poor stats and lack of contribution are drawing criticism. (Part Two)

Is displacement a means of self-preservation, maintaining a safe distance for output, and does it help maximize damage? Not entirely. Marco Polo's popularity stems from his low margin for error. When teaming up with a group of strangers, unless you are very confident, you won't randomly pick a stationary marksman to go into battle. Without protection, you'll die immediately after leaving the turret. It's better to switch to a marksman with mobility to survive and continue outputting damage.
Starting with Marco Polo makes team composition choices difficult.
The first skill is used for attrition, and its high hit rate in the early game allows for two dashes. However, entering the fray requires the ultimate. The skill now has a lifesteal effect, and the Endless Blade item provides sustain, reducing the anxiety of being harassed. The problem is that Marco Polo's existence is precisely for attrition warfare, so conservative players dare not make any rash moves. Therefore, in high-level games, teamwork is forced to the sidelines, and player performance is polarized, with varying skill levels. Strong players are hard to counter, while weak players lack damage. The proportion of unskilled players is relatively high, which explains the low win rate of 42.94%, and even the phenomenon of discrimination.
Calling it discrimination seems a bit extreme. Do Summoners really hate Marco that much? I've never heard an opponent say "don't pick him." Let me ask you this: in high-level games, if your teammates pick him first, would you still dare to choose your main role? Are you trying to compensate for the lack of damage output, or lower the hero's win rate? A large number of people chose the latter, so they backed down.
Second on the list of richest heroes in the Valley
The ultimate skill deals explosive damage, so what went wrong that makes it so disliked? The biggest complaint is the excessive consumption of resources. Resources are limited, and everyone is equal. Supports have support stones, and core mages, junglers, and marksmen all need to earn money to buy equipment. If you choose the wrong time to farm lanes, widening the economic gap, it's like declaring war on your teammates. Mages are already reluctant to give money to physical attack heroes, so at least the extra resources should have some impact.
Marco Polo's average gold per minute reached 702.65, ranking second among all marksmen. The first place is Agudo, and Li Yuanfang is third. On the other hand, the gold per minute of junglers such as Sima Yi, Tachibana Ukyo, and Zhuge Liang is lower than that of Marco Polo. This shows that the "richest" hero in the game is Marco Polo, who ranks second. However, when it comes to average damage per game, the difference is staggering, ranking 14th. This shows that the one who works the hardest to earn money is actually the hero with the least useful function.
