German Counter Strike 2 powerhouse BIG announced on Thursday via their official X (Twitter) account that they have parted ways with In-Game Leader FreeZe.
According to BIG's official statement, the entire club is extremely grateful to FreeZe for his willingness to lead the team through its most turbulent period. They also wish him all the best for the future.
Furthermore, according to local German sources, BIG is expected to sign fnatic player BlameF to replace FreeZe.
It's worth mentioning that this transfer means FreeZe's time with BIG will end after a three-month stint after being their promoted to the main roster.
BIG's performances in 2025 was extremely disappointing. Despite winning the CCT Season 3 European Series 12 and the Skyesports Chennai Global Championship, and finishing as runner-up at the DreamHack Knockout Atlanta, the team failed to perform well in two Major tournaments.
About FreeZe
FreeZe, 27 years old, was born on July 24, 1998, in Germany. He began his career as a professional Counter Strike 2 esports player in 2018, playing as a In-Game Leader.
FreeZe joined the BIG Academy as an assistant coach in July 2025, and was later promoted to the main roster as the starting In-Game Leader, in place of Krimbo who was benched.
In the past three months, FreeZe played 40 maps for BIG, averaging a rating of 0.85.
