Luis Garcia gave a lengthy review and commentary on Sunday's brilliant victory on Sevilla FC's official program, still basking in the afterglow of the match.

After the match, Luis Garcia said, "From now until the end of the season, every game will be a fierce battle. Every point and every victory is extremely important, and we must gain something from every game. We started well and showed our determination to win. But after scoring, the team seemed to experience a psychological fluctuation, which caused our overall formation to become more defensive."

"This is not meant as criticism. We were under a lot of pressure because of our long winless streak, which limited us from reaching our full potential. Compared to the previous few days, we improved our passing and showed a desire to win. However, our overall defensive positioning was too deep, and the goal we conceded even came from a throw-in. We should have pressed forward more aggressively and put more pressure on their throw-ins."

“We were a bit tense at times, but I’m happy with how the team handled it. We completely controlled the second half and played our own game. We made a tactical adjustment, switching to a 5-1-3-1 formation. Apart from Lookman’s last chance, I can hardly recall the opponent making any effective counter-attacks in the second half. We also created some chances.”

“The second half performance was outstanding, which is a positive result for us. I hope the team can maintain a high level of performance even when we don’t have a clear advantage, because we must learn to handle different types of games. At the same time, we also need the players to show courage, desire, and fighting spirit on the field.”

“We have three games left here, and we're not particularly concerned about who the opponents are right now. The key is to get points. The team hasn't won here in a long time. Finally, Luis Garcia spoke about the role of academy players in the starting lineup.
