Teleportation is a new art in the Rift; a battle of support efficiency—who is more suitable for you, Yu the Great or Liu Bang? (Part 3)

As long as Yu the Great's cauldron is not destroyed by the enemy and is placed in a hidden location, it can be used as a teleportation device. Just this alone has a very high potential. At max level, he has a total of eight cauldrons. Aside from the healing function, the eight cauldrons can be spread across the battlefield, along the three lanes, two dragons, and two more in the jungle. The remaining one can be kept as a reserve. Simply put, the five members of the team can freely move around the battlefield, while Yu the Great himself stays in the development lane to ensure that it will not be breached. On the other hand, it creates channels to enhance the support efficiency of everyone, including himself.

Yu the Great secretly built a private passage

If there's no teleportation array on the development lane, then create your own private passage. Generally, enemies tend to cluster on the development lane and don't fight much on the confrontation lane. With insufficient numbers, Da Yu can lead the side lane and jungle duo to invade the confrontation lane's half of the map, and the opposing team will have difficulty countering. If the support leaves the group and the marksman on the development lane, that area will fall into a disadvantageous position. Squishy heroes will be killed, their economy will drop, and it will be difficult for them to achieve the so-called late-game dominance.

It sounds a bit confusing, but to summarize, Yu the Great's cauldron allows him to teleport to the side lanes. Regardless of whether the opponent chooses to stay or leave, they will be at a disadvantage because their return speed is not as fast as Yu the Great's. This talk of fancy teleportation tactics ultimately hinges on teamwork and synchronized awareness to maximize its effectiveness. If you're just curious and jump on the cauldron to fly elsewhere, it's like the vortex gate opening and no one initiating a team fight; in the end, the one who was supposed to be protecting others pays the price, dying inexplicably.

Support utility, teammates are the key figures

How difficult is Yu the Great's teleportation? It depends on the teammates. The process is complicated and requires placing a cauldron. At this point, players might think of Liu Bang, a tank-type support, whose ultimate skill has a built-in teleportation and a shorter cooldown. Is he not as strong as Yu the Great? In terms of practicality, Liu Bang is the most direct and straightforward. When a teammate is low on health, teleport first to generate a shield. After landing, charge up the second skill, displace and stun, and the shield explodes. It's quite good for initiating team fights. In the end, the question comes back to whether the teammates can keep up with the pace.

Yu the Great has long-range healing and large-area crowd control; after a team fight, he can simply teleport back. Liu Bang, on the other hand, has to walk slowly and select a target when teleporting. In high-level games, Yu the Great is undoubtedly more suitable; for those seeking a more average tanky support, Liu Bang is better for climbing the ranks.
