Saudi Arabian e-sports powerhouse Falcons announced on its official Twitter account on Friday that G2's ace Rifler NiKo has officially signed and joined its Counter Strike roster.
According to Falcons' official statement, NiKo will replace the recently benched Danish player Snappi and become the team's new Rifler. He will make his Falcons debut at the BLAST Bounty Spring tournament on January 12.
In fact, Falcons has been interested in working with NiKo since 2023, but he decided to stay with the team at the time. It was not until now that NiKo was finally moved by Falcons's perseverance and sincerity.
Currently, in addition to Danish Rifler Magisk who has been confirmed will be staying with the team, Falcons has not yet finalized the other players in its roster.
Earlier, it was reported that Falcons was in talks with the HEROIC trio, kyxsan, TeSeS and degster, but there is still no follow-up to this news.
About NiKo
NiKo, 27, was born on February 16, 1997 in Brcko, Bosnia and Herzegovina. He has been active in the Counter Strike competitive e-sports circle since 2009.
NiKo was the ace of Serbian team iNation and joined FazeClan in February 2017.
In October 2020, NiKo moved to G2.
During his time with FazeClan and G2, NiKo won multiple S-tier tournaments with his outstanding performances, and was even selected as the HLTV Tournament MVP 8 times and the HLTV Top 20 Player of the Year 5 times.
Falcons' failure in two consecutive Major tournaments in 2024 disappointed many fans. Hopefully with the joining of NiKo, the Saudi powerhouse will be able to rebound strongly.
