Former ITB coach Juve has officially taken over Fluxo, having led the team to the quarterfinals of the BLAST.tv Paris Major.

Brazilian CS2 team Fluxo released a statement on Saturday confirming that 23-year-old Portuguese coach Gustavo Alessandre (ID: juve) has officially taken over as head coach. He is seen as the successor to Marcos Castillo (ID: tacitus), who was dismissed earlier this month due to unsatisfactory performance.

Juve left the kONO team in January 2026 and has been unemployed since. During his seven months coaching kONO, he successfully led the team's strategic transformation from an all-Ukrainian roster to an international lineup.

Besides kONO, juve has also coached several CS teams, including FTW, Into the Breach, and Secret. His most notable achievement during this period was leading ITB to the quarterfinals of the 2023 BLAST.tv Paris Major.

For Fluxo, this coaching change is a crucial part of their roster adjustments. To reverse their recent slump, having suffered consecutive setbacks in the IEM Rio Americas Qualifier, IEM Krakow, and the BetBoom Rush B Summit, they have relegated in-game leader Andre Piovezan (ID: arT) to the bench and brought in former MIBR rifler Rafael Russellda (ID: exit). Lucas Neves (ID: Lucaozy) has transitioned from rifler to in-game leader to fill the void left by arT.

After signing the contract, Juve said on the X platform: "Thank you for your trust. Now it's time to focus on my work. I've experienced many difficulties and setbacks in the past two years, but I fully believe that this will be a new beginning for me."

Fluxo is currently ranked 70th globally in VRS (Dynamic Sales Representatives). Later this month, they will be heading to the second phase of the BetBoom RUSH B Summit, held offline in São Paulo.
