3DMAX benched Rifer Djoko and signs former G2 player bodyy as his replacement..


French Counter Strike 2 (CS2) team 3DMAX announced on Sunday through its X (Twitter) account that its Rifler Djoko will be benched and former G2 player bodyy will be his replacement.


According to 3DMAX's official statement, the team has been looking for a player who can share the in-game leader's strong leadership skills but not in the in-game's role for a long time, and bodyy happened to be the best candidate for the "second chair" role in the roster.


At the same time, 3DMAX also added in the statement that in order to improve its competitive strength, the team had to make the decision to part ways with Djoko. Despite this, 3DMAX is still open to working with Djoko if there is a suitable opportunity in the future.


With this joining, it also means that bodyy will reunite with his former DBL PONEY teammates Ex3rcice⁠ and Lucky.


Former Falcons AWP-er, Maka will continue to serve as captain.


About Djoko


Thomas Pavoni, 27, Djoko, was born in France on April 16, 1997. He has been active in the Counter Strike professional e-sports competitive circle since 2017.


Djoko played for The Dice and joined DBL PONEY in February 2021. During this spell, he won the Malta Vibes Knockout Series 5 and the ESL Pro Challenger League Season 40 European Qualifiers with the team.


In January of the following year, Djoko moved to HEET and joined his former teammate Maka for the first time. During this spell, the two won the CCT Season 1 Central Europe Series 6 with the team.


In November of the same year, Djoko joined 3DMAX.


During this spell, he won the Skyesports Championship 2024 with the team, lost to G2 in the ESL Pro League Season 19 and being eliminated in the top 12, and lost to OG in the Thunderpick World Championship 2024 and finished third.


About bodyy


The 28-year-old Alexandre Pierre Pinaro, bodyy, was born in France on January 8, 1997. He has already been active in the Counter Strike professional e-sports competitive circle since 2013.


bodyy played for MAXISAUSICCE, Platinum and LDLC in his early years, and joined G2 in March 2016.


During his three-year spell with G2, bodyy won the ECS Season 1, ESL Pro League Season 5, DreamHack Open Tour 2017, DreamHack Malmö Masters 2017, and was selected by HLTV as one of the breakout players in 2017.


In November 2023, bodyy moved to Fnatic.


During his near one-and-a-half-year spell with Fnatic, bodyy won the RES European Series twice with the team, but terminated his contract and left the team in January 2025. His position was later replaced by the Passion UA's former Ukrainian In-Game leader, fear.
