Team Vitality wins the 2026 PGL Cluj-Napoca Grand Prix.

In the highly anticipated CS2 PGL CFR Cluj-Napoca Grand Finals, the world's top esports team Team Vitality swept aside the tournament's biggest dark horse, PARAVISION, with an absolute 3-0 victory, successfully lifting the championship trophy.

This victory not only marked Team Vitality's second championship trophy in the 2026 season, but also coincided with the birthday of their leader, apEX, adding double joy to this championship night.

This grand final adopted a best-of-five (BO5) format. Facing PARAVISION, who had defeated several strong opponents on their way to the final, Vitality did not allow the fairytale of upsets to continue, and ended the battle decisively in just three maps.

In the first map, Overpass, despite Paravison's aggressive start with four consecutive points, Vitality quickly adjusted their rhythm and delivered a stellar 7-5 performance in the first half as the attacking side. They continued to extend their lead in the second half and secured the first round.

In Dust II (Figure 2), the match completely devolved into a one-sided stomp by Vitality. They established a massive 9-3 lead from the first half and allowed their opponents only four points throughout the game, easily extending their overall lead.

Map 3, Inferno, witnessed the most exciting game of the entire tournament. Paravison once held a match point lead of 11-6, pushing Vitality to the brink of defeat. However, Vitality displayed incredible championship resilience, staging a stunning comeback with a breathtaking six-game winning streak to complete an incredible comeback and secure a 3-0 victory in the series.

This victory further solidifies Team Vitality's dominance in the CS2 era. Following their two Major victories in 2025 and their recent win at IEM Krakow in 2026, the team is on a winning streak. Next, the in-form Vitality will set their sights on the highly anticipated Cologne Major.
