C Luo Riyadh victory reached a contract extension agreement

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly agreed a contract extension with Saudi giants Al-Qassim, just days after turning 40.

Ronaldo joined Al-Qaeda in January 2023 and signed a two-and-a-half-year contract, which will expire after the 2024-25 season. However, according to AFP, club officials revealed that the Portuguese superstar has agreed to extend his contract for one year, and the new contract will last until June 2026.

The official said: "Both parties have agreed on a renewable extension of Ronaldo's contract, but it has not yet been formally signed. The club will make a formal announcement in the coming days."

The news of the contract extension came just as Ronaldo turned 40. On February 6, he scored in the Saudi Professional League match against Feha, helping the team win 3-0 and celebrating his milestone birthday with a goal.

Next, Al-Qahri will face Al-Ahli away from home on Thursday.
