Oliver Glasner praised the team's performance, with several players getting crucial moments on the pitch

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner felt his side’s performance was outstanding and gave his players crucial moments on the pitch following their win over Doncaster Rovers.  

Oliver Glasner fielded a strong team and was rewarded for a controlled performance, scoring two goals in the first and second half to beat their opponents. Daniel Munoz scored a goal after half an hour to put Crystal Palace ahead, and Justin Devenney then scored a wonderful goal shortly after the break.  

Oliver Glasner said: "We finished the game. I thought we controlled the game in the first 60 minutes. We scored two good goals, but also missed one or two chances to decide the outcome of the game."  

"We conceded too many chances in the last 20 minutes but overall there were a lot of positives. Adam Walton's return was one of them. He was supposed to play 45 minutes but he played 60 because he performed very well. Ben Chilwell also made his first appearance and 45 minutes was very important for him. It was a good night for us."  

In addition, Oliver Glasner also said: "I think Doncaster Rovers did a good job tactically. They used the six to mark our tenth position, so they always defended five with six. This means that we have established good organization in the back line because we have a five-on-four and six-on-four defensive lineup. We didn't encounter too much trouble when the game entered the last third."  

"But we didn't play the final pass well enough, especially with our full-backs sitting too deep and not getting behind. We scored a great set-piece thanks to the preparation of my staff and the execution of the players."  

Speaking of Justin Devenney, Oliver Glasner said: "This is his first FA Cup goal and we are very confident in him because he performed well in training. In the past few weeks, Justin Devenney didn't have much playing time, so he may feel a little rusty. But as the game time gets longer, his performance will get better."  

"Justin Deveney always finds good positions in the box and although he doesn't always receive the ball, he does a good job. This goal was more difficult than his first because he used his right leg and the ball went past the goalkeeper, whereas the first goal could have been an open net."  

Oliver Glasner said of the fans who came from afar: "They are really great. I think everyone who watched the game here should be appreciated. It was cold, windy and rainy that day, but it was great to still support us in such weather."  

"So I'd like to thank the fans again for their support and for everything they do for Crystal Palace, we really appreciate it."  

Although Oliver Glasner is very excited about the team's prospects, he did not get carried away by this victory. Oliver Glasner said: "Doncaster Rovers is over, now we have to focus on Everton. We have won four consecutive away games, but now we have to be ready to face the strong Everton, we will be ready."
