Throughout his nine-year spell at Paris Saint-Germain, Kurzawa has made 154 appearances across all competitions for Les Parisiens, scoring 14 goals and assisting 23 times, where he has won the Ligue 1, Coupe de France and the Coupe de la Ligue 4 times each, as well as the Trophée des Champions 5 times with the club, and reached the Champions League final once.

Despite his good performances, Van Ginkel was plagued by injuries.

In July 2015, Van Ginkel was loaned-out to Stoke City.
