Seleri, a three-time Dota 2 Major champion and current captain of the MOUZ team, has announced his official retirement, ending his illustrious professional career of more than ten years.
In the recently concluded 2026 ESL One Birmingham, Team MOUZ finished in 7th-8th place. Seleri later revealed on social media that the intense schedule of a full-time professional player had left him feeling exhausted, which was the main reason for his decision to retire.
Seleri's career reached its absolute peak while playing for Gaimin Gladiators. In 2023, as captain, he led the team to an epic dominance, winning the Lima, Berlin, and Bali Majors that year.
Despite his team's defeats to Team Spirit and Team Liquid in the 2023 and 2024 International (TI) finals respectively, finishing as runners-up for two consecutive years, his outstanding tactical vision and leadership had already won over players worldwide. After a short break, he moved to MOUZ in 2025 and has played for them ever since.
Besides his impressive competitive record, Seleri is also a well-known vegetarian in the Dota 2 community. He has maintained a vegan diet since 2015 and even donated all his prize money from the 2022 TI to an animal shelter. In his retirement speech, he expressed his gratitude for being able to enjoy the esports stage while also taking the opportunity to promote vegetarianism.
With Seleri's departure, MOUZ has yet to announce a replacement for him. The team's remaining members are Crystallis, MidOne, BOOM, and Yamich.
