Former Imperial rifler SHR left the team after his contract expired, saying he is full of expectations for the future.

Portuguese CS2 player José Gil (ID: shr) confirmed on Sunday that he has officially left the Imperial team due to the expiration of his contract.

In the post, shr wrote: "My contract with Imperial has expired, and I am currently considering whether to serve as a sniper or rifleman. I am looking forward to the future."

"Thank you to all my teammates. I wish you all the best in the future."

shr, 25, has played as a rifler or sniper for teams including SAW Youngsters, eXploit, GTZ, OFFSET, VELOX, For The Win, Lausanne, AL QATRAO, and SAW. His most notable achievement during this period was undoubtedly finishing 5th-8th at the 2025 PGL Cluj-Napoca.

In July 2025, shr officially joined the Imperial team. However, he was relegated to the bench after only a little over a month with Imperial, and his starting position was taken by former FURIA rifleman Felipe Mederos (ID: skullz).

According to HLTV statistics, shr played 441 maps and participated in 981 rounds for Imperial, with an average personal rating of only 0.97.
