According to the latest financial report, South Korean esports club T1 will generate a total revenue of 88.64 billion won (approximately US$58.74 million) in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 80.8%.
More historically significant, T1 successfully reversed its $6.4 million loss in 2024, achieving a net profit of 1.23 billion won (approximately $815,000), marking the team's first annual profit since its inception.
T1's remarkable profitability is primarily driven by its phenomenal product sales. In 2025, sales of merchandise, mainly team uniforms, collaborative capsule collections, and various accessories, soared to 74.14 billion won, representing a growth of 86.9%.
Globally, T1 fans demonstrated remarkable purchasing power. Sales in their home market of South Korea surged by 89.7%, contributing over $34 million; the Americas became the biggest growth engine, with a 93.5% increase and revenue exceeding $15 million; Europe and other parts of Asia also recorded significant growth of 51% and 36.1% respectively.
Besides its globally bestselling merchandise, T1 also made a fortune in sponsorships and advertising thanks to its unparalleled dominance on the field and the super IP effect of legendary player Faker, easily earning 14.5 billion won (approximately US$9.6 million).
Despite a 25.5% increase in operating costs, including top-paid player salaries, as the team's scale improved, T1's resilient and diversified revenue streams still enabled it to achieve a positive net profit.
To further optimize its asset structure, T1 recently completed a capital injection of approximately US$7.5 million, aimed at reducing its debt ratio and gradually digesting accumulated losses from earlier years.
