Using gradients and mechanisms to distinguish strength? Bian Que and Ying Zheng consistently have win rates exceeding 50%, yet nobody pays any attention to them. (Part Three)

With a win rate consistently at 53%, does this mean there's no need to buff him? Everyone has witnessed Ying Zheng being sidelined. While the Elegant Lover skin has a high exchange rate, with the increase in members of the Rose Treasure Pavilion, many are shifting to other skins. The gameplay focuses on ranged poke, with the ultimate skill unleashing a barrage of flying swords that pierce the heart, though the animation is slightly delayed and slow. Unless equipped with Sprint or purchased Frozen Breath, it's difficult to keep enemies in place. Finally, it's used as a map observation skill to expand vision and check enemy whereabouts.
The current version does not allow mages to be without crowd control.
As the game version changes, mobility is a basic requirement for marksmen. Similarly, minor crowd control is a lifesaver for mages. However, Ying Zheng relies on a brief speed boost, perhaps intentionally designed to break through defenses. His attack range is already very long, so he doesn't need to risk his life. Long range is always better than Bian Que's poison stacking. Therefore, his pick rate is 4% across all ranks, with a win rate of 52.92%. In the 1350 peak match, his pick rate is 4.9%, with a win rate of 51.07%. In the top-ranked matches, his pick rate is 5.5%, with a win rate of 51.7%.
This data suggests that Ying Zheng is a decent alternative mage. Mid-lane options tend to favor utility and burst damage builds. Even when playing a damage-dealing build, he has no way to instantly kill a squishy target. Clearing lanes and defending is a good option. In terms of efficiency, he is lower than Jiang Ziya and Wang Zhaojun. In top-tier ranked matches, he is more likely to be targeted. Side laners and junglers are best at finding weaknesses in long-range mages. He has no mobility, no hard crowd control, and no close bodyguards, making it easy to take down a mage.
Don't be stingy with your ultimate skill; it's very effective at pushing towers.
Most players who play Ying Zheng complain that they are reluctant to use their ultimate skill. It is actually most suitable for pushing towers in the early and mid-game, but they choose to release it in team fights. The cooldown is about 20 seconds, which is neither long nor short. After clearing the lane, they can go around the jungle and walk to the side lane, and the cooldown will be almost over. In the late game, they usually sweep the back line from the side, rather than engaging in a head-on confrontation. When the enemy is united, they will know to find a tank to take the damage even if they are scattered. Environmental protection is very important.
The core item is Liandry's Anguish. If you need Nightmare's Fang, then replace it. Rabadon's Deathcap and Void Staff are all mainstream items, in the T4 tier, so they are considered not up to standard. However, there is still room for them in ranked matches. At the end of the season, you might as well consider using them to climb the ranks.
