◤Serie A◢ Donyell Malen's hat-trick propels Roma to a comfortable 3-0 victory over Pisa..

Roma secured a comfortable 3-0 victory over Pisa on matchday 32 of the 2025/26 Serie A season at the Stadio Olimpico on Friday.

In the first half, Malen opened the scoring early by volleying into the net, Pellegrini's free-kick hit the crossbar, followed by Malen's second goal of the match with follow-up shot. In the second half, Malen completed his hat-trick with another volley which ended up at the back of the net. Ultimately, Roma cruised to a 3-0 win over Pisa. After this round of match, I Giallorossi temporarily rise to 6th place on the table with 57 points, level on points with Juventus; meanwhile Pisa remains rooted at the bottom of the table with 18 points.

First Half

In the 3rd minute, Roma launched a deadly counter-attack. Antonio Caracciolo made a clearance error in his own back half, allowing Donyell Malen to intercept the ball and dribble into the left side of the box before volleying the ball into the top right corner of the net with a right-footed shot, giving Roma an early 1-0 lead!

14 minutes later, Stefano Moreo crossed into the box from the right wing. Matteo Tramoni quickly followed up and upon receiving the pass, volleyed with his right foot from the center of the box, but his shot was saved by Mile Svilar.

In the 42nd minute, Roma earned a free kick opportunity. Lorenzo Pellegrini took the free kick from outside the box, by taking a direct right-footed shot, but his attempt unfortunately struck the top right corner of the crossbar. Roma missed a golden opportunity to extend their lead!

Shortly after, Zeki Çelik passes horizontally from the right side of the box. His pass was initially blocked and cleared off not far away by Idrissa Touré. Upon picking up the loose ball, Pellegrini passes horizontally from the left side of the box. Devyne Rensch passes horizontally again from a very close distance in the box upon receiving the pass, where Malen slotted the ball into the bottom left corner of the net right foot from a very close distance in the box upon receiving the pass, to score his second goal of the match, extending Roma's lead to 2-0!

At halftime, Roma is already leading Pisa by 2-0 going into the break.

Second Half

Both teams switched sides as the match continued. In the 48th minute, Michel Aebischer delivered a precise low diagonal through ball from the right wing. After beating the offside trap, Malthe Højholt quickly followed up, got the ball and took a few steps before volleying with his right foot from the edge of the penalty area, but his shot was saved by the outrushing Svilar.

4 minutes later, Matias Soulè delivered a deadly low precise low diagonal through ball from the right wing. After beating the offside trap, Malen quickly followed up and upon receiving the pass, volleyed the ball with his right foot into the bottom left corner of the net from the center of the box, completing his hat-trick! Roma secured a 3-0 victory! This was already the Netherlands international forward's 11th goal in 14 appearances since joining I Giallorossi in January!

In the 83rd minute, Mehdi Léris passes horizontally from the front. Upon receiving he pass, Rafiu Durosinmi took a right-footed shot long from edge of the penalty area, but his shot was saved by Svilar.

When the final whistle is blown, Roma comprehensively defeated Pisa by 3-0.
