Gross: We must believe we can win before every game.

Brighton defeated Chelsea 3-0 in the 34th round of the 2025/26 Premier League season, thanks to goals from Cardiogoru, Hinschelwood, and Welbeck. German midfielder Pascal stated that talent alone is not enough to win in the competitive Premier League, but emphasized that players must approach the game with a winning mentality.

After achieving 4 wins and 1 draw in the last 5 rounds, Brighton is currently ranked 6th in the standings with 50 points, and has a chance to compete for a European qualification spot.

When asked about the possibility of returning to European competitions, Gross said, "I've always believed in that. I said before the game that you have to believe in yourself first before you can actually do it. If you don't believe in yourself, it's all in vain because the competition is very fierce. That doesn't mean we haven't achieved anything before, but the last four games are crucial."
