Burnley announced on their official website on Thursday that manager Scott Parker has resigned.
According to Burnley's official statement, everyone at the club would like to express their gratitude to Parker for his professionalism, dedication, and contributions to the team, and wished him all the best for the future.
The search for a newhmanager is in full swing, and U23s team manager Mike Jackson will immediately serve as interim head coach until the end of the season.
Following the announcement of his departure, Parker said through Burnley's official website: "I have been deeply honored to manage this great club for the past two years. I cherish every moment spent with everyone, but I feel it is now the right time for both sides to move in different directions."
"Looking back on my time at the club, I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved, especially the unforgettable promotion run in the 2024/25 season. It has been an immense honour to lead this team in the Premier League."

Burnley ended their Premier League campaign last weekend with a 1-0 defeat to a title-contending Manchester City.
The 45-year-old Parker was an England international midfielder during his playing career, playing for Charlton Athletic, Norwich City, Chelsea, Newcastle United, West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Fulham.
After retiring, he managed Fulham, Bournemouth, and Club Brugge, becoming a EFL Championship promotion specialist.
In the summer of 2024, he succeeded Vincent Kompany, who moved to Bayern Munich, as manager of Burnley.
During his two-year spell as manager at Turf Moore, Parker managed 88 matches for Burnley in all competitions, achieving 36 wins, 24 draws, and 28 losses, win percentage of 40.9%. He also set a EFL Championship record with a 33-match unbeaten run and a 30-match clean sheet streak.
