Archie Gray, who scored his first goal for Tottenham, insists he is never afraid to fight for possession.

Archie Gray said his father has always reminded him to fight for possession and that he will not be afraid to fight for opportunities in the future.

Archie Gray said, "The game against Nottingham Forest was really tough for me. That mistake was obviously my fault, but I just tried to get the ball as much as possible and stay positive. This game wasn't perfect either, it was a bit fragmented, but scoring a goal is something every kid dreams of."

“My dad always tells me, ‘Go get the ball, don’t be afraid,’ and that’s always stayed with me. Even if I made a mistake against Nottingham Forest, I would never hide from the ball. That’s never been something I would do, and I never will. If I make a mistake, that’s part of football sometimes, and I can only learn from it. And I am learning, and I try to correct those mistakes every day in training.”

Speaking about the goal, Archie Gray said, "I was just in the right place at the right time. To be honest, Richarlison probably did most of the work with that pass. I was only two yards from the goal, so there wasn't much to do. It feels great to score and get three points, and most importantly, the team won the game."
