Andoni Iraola stated that the team must play at its highest level to achieve good results in the upcoming matches.

Andoni Iraola says Bournemouth must give their all to achieve a good result in their upcoming away game against Chelsea. Bournemouth suffered a 1-4 defeat to Brentford on Saturday and are set to face another Premier League clash.

After a 0-0 draw against Enzo Maresca's Chelsea at Vitória earlier this month, Andoni Iraola wants his players to respond at Stamford Bridge. The manager said in the pre-match press conference: "We just played them recently, so we must play our best to achieve a good result at Stamford Bridge."

"It's not enough to just perform reasonably well or reasonably well; you have to play at your best. We need to be better in the first half than we were on Saturday, and our defense needs to be more solid. I think our defense was excellent in the 0-0 draw against Chelsea at home."

"It will be very difficult to keep a clean sheet again. We must improve our performance on the defensive end because it will be a big challenge. They are a very good attacking team and scoring goals is relatively easy for them. They don't need many chances to score because they have multiple threats."

“They have a lot of players, including substitutes, who can maintain a high level of performance throughout the game. They usually rotate their wingers and number 9s, but the team’s overall strength is still very strong, so they can maintain their stamina throughout the game. For us, this is undoubtedly a very tough game. We must fight with our goal of regaining our form and showing our ability to compete with top teams.”

Given Bournemouth's poor form in the top flight, Andoni Iraola said he hopes the team can turn the emotions from Saturday's loss to Brentford into positive motivation.

Andoni Iraola said: "The key is how you deal with games like this. If you finish a game with desire or frustration, you can turn those emotions into motivation for the next game. Saturday's loss was indeed disappointing, but I hope the team can carry that desire and feeling, especially the form shown in the first half, into the next game."
