Chelsea, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are all keeping tabs on Bournemouth defender Dean Huissen, with his £50m release clause set to come into effect in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Huissen joined Bournemouth from Juventus in the summer of 2024 for a transfer fee of up to 18 million euros. The 19-year-old young central defender has performed well in the Premier League this season and has played 22 times in all competitions for the team so far, becoming an important part of the team's fight for a Champions League spot. At present, Bournemouth is only 1 point away from fourth-placed Manchester City and still has the hope of making history and entering the Champions League.
According to well-known transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the £50 million buyout clause in Huisen's current contract will be officially activated in the summer window this year. Due to his amazing performance in the Premier League, top European clubs such as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Chelsea have shown great interest in the Dutch teenager.
This season, Huissen and his teammate Ilya Zabarny formed a solid defense, helping Bournemouth concede only 29 goals in 25 Premier League games, which is second only to Arsenal (22 goals) and Liverpool (26 goals), ranking third in the Premier League.
After a 3-1 win over Southampton last weekend, Andoni Iraola's side will continue their push for a Champions League spot when they host Wolves on February 22.
