Chelsea manager says Josh Acheampong was the standout player against Crystal Palace

Josh Acheampong made his first Premier League start for Chelsea against Crystal Palace and manager Enzo Maresca said he was the team's best player in the match.
Josh Acheampong arrived at a much-changed Chelsea squad as the team looked to bounce back from a poor run of form over the festive period, and despite Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace, Enzo Maresca was impressed by his performance.
"All the players played well, but if I had to pick one, Josh Acheampong was the best player," Enzo Maresca said after the game.
"Josh Acheampong can be a top player for Chelsea and we made this decision today because we saw he was ready. Sure enough, Josh Acheampong showed in this game how good he is."
