Ruud van Nistelrooy says James Justin is still uncertain about his availability for the match against Brentford, while Ricardo Pereira has resumed training

It remains unknown whether James Justin, who currently plays for Leicester City, can play in the team's match against Brentford, while Ricardo Pereira has resumed training and returned to the team for long-term rehabilitation.

Manager Ruud van Nistelrooy said: "It is still unknown whether James Justin can participate in the team's game against Brentford. James Justin cannot participate in the team's training, so it is difficult for him to participate in the team's game. Nevertheless, James Justin's condition is not very bad and he has been evaluated and cared for."

"In addition, Ricardo Perreira's comeback is progressing very smoothly and he has participated in the team's training. I hope Ricardo Perreira can have more performances in the next few weeks and can participate in the team's games smoothly."

New signing Wojo Koulibaly impressed many on his home debut as a substitute last weekend and could start against Brentford.

Ruud van Nistelrooy said: "This is great news. It was very important to bring in a right-back during the transfer window. James Justin is the only right-back in the team. Ricardo Pereira is injured. It's good to have him. Wojo Koulibaly was impressive in the game against Arsenal."

“Every player is waiting to start, of course Wojo Koulibaly is the second right-back, he came on after James Justin went off, we will see how the rest of the week goes and then decide on the team.”
