League of Legends Honor Rewards System is undergoing adjustments, Honor Capsules and Orbs will be removed

Following Hex Chests, Riot Games has decided to remove Honor Capsules and Honor Orbs in the next few weeks, which means that players with active gaming behavior will usher in a new reward mechanism.
These reward systems have gone through some adjustments over the course of multiple seasons, but the overall mechanics have remained consistent. Typically, Honor Orbs offer Key Fragments (used to open Hex Chests, but this system has been removed), some low-value Hero Fragments, and the occasional Ward Skin or Blue Essence. Honor Capsules (available at Honor Level 3 and above) offer more premium rewards, including Hero Fragments worth 4,800 Blue Essence or more, exclusive Honor Skins (such as "Ashen Werewolf" or "Medieval Twitch"), Honor Level 5 Tokens, and even random Ward Skins.
In the future, players will no longer receive Honor Capsules or Orbs, but will directly receive Battle Pass experience points. If your account still has unopened Honor Capsules or Orbs before the system is removed, they will be automatically opened and the rewards will be directly issued to your account.
With the update of the 2025 season, Riot Games also upgraded the battle pass. In the first developer update of this year, the official announced that it would improve the battle pass mission and skin reward mechanism to enhance the gaming experience.
Friendlier novice experience: In the future, the pass will not only reward skins, but also corresponding heroes to help new players get started faster.
More flexible theme matching: Skin rewards will no longer be strictly limited to the season theme to provide more diverse choices.
Easier Missions: Missions will be made less difficult, allowing players to progress through the Battle Pass faster.
