BOOM Esports defeats strong opponents and advances to TI 2025

BOOM Esports returns to its home turf in the Southeast Asia qualifiers for The International 2025, Dota 2.

BOOM Esports defeated the strong opponent Talon Esports 2-1, successfully won the ticket to TI 2025, and became the second representative team of this region.

After a brief campaign in South America at the end of 2023, BOOM Esports returned to Southeast Asia in September 2024, hoping to re-establish its former dominance. Although they were suppressed by Talon Esports over the past year, they made a comeback in this qualifier and proved their strength.

The participating team is called the Southeast Asian "Dream Team", including JaCkky, Armel, Jabz, TIMS and Jaunuel, and is coached by Southeast Asian legendary player Mushi. Despite the strong lineup, BOOM Esports lost to Team Nemesis in the first round and fell into the loser group, facing the crisis of being eliminated.

Under pressure, BOOM Esports showed amazing resilience, defeating Castawake, Ivory and Execration in succession, advancing to the loser's bracket finals to face Talon Esports again.

In the first game, BOOM Esports won with an overwhelming strategy. Although they lost the second game, in the crucial deciding game, they relied on excellent teamwork and mid-term team battles to secure the victory after 47 minutes of fierce fighting.

BOOM Esports' successful promotion is not only a reflection of their strength, but also a symbol of their re-establishment of the top position in the Southeast Asian region. Next, they will go to TI 2025 with Team Nemesis to win glory for Southeast Asia and challenge for global e-sports glory.
