Postecoglou wants Spurs to build on their impressive run

The 2024/25 Premier League will usher in the 26th round of the competition, and Tottenham Hotspur will travel to challenge the newly promoted Ipswich. Postecoglou said that he hopes the team can further consolidate the excellent performance and momentum, and continue to improve its status and lay a solid foundation.

This round of games is a good opportunity, but it is not easy to play away in the Premier League, especially against a team like Ipswich that is fighting for relegation."

When talking about coaching the team, Postecoglu said, "For me, the two favorite parts of coaching are match day and training. When you stand on the training ground and can't really train according to your own ideas, you will feel very restricted. It's not just me, other coaches are the same. Sometimes we design training courses, but the players can only jog to adapt, and we are just simply conveying information to them."

"Every time you come out of practice over the last two weeks, you're excited about what you've seen. You feel good about the practice that's been put in place, and the coaching staff and players are very motivated."

On the other hand, Tottenham Hotspur will travel to challenge Alkmaar in the first round of the UEFA Europa League round of 16, and this will be an opportunity for Tottenham Hotspur to continue to compete for the championship this season.

Postecoglu said, "Europe has always been our focus and we performed very well in the group stage. In the end we secured the top eight and even the top four, which has helped us a lot in the past two weeks. This is of course important, but we must not ignore the league because of this."
