Emerson Palmieri: I believe we can win against Arsenal

West Ham United's Emerson Palmieri will be hoping his side can use the memory of last season's away win at the Emirates Stadium to inspire them to another strong performance against Arsenal.  

Emerson Palmieri said : " We respect Arsenal very much. They are a very good team and the standings have proven their quality. However, this is an 11-on-11 match and we will definitely go all out and strive for a positive result."  

“We got a big win there last season and it’s never easy to play at the Emirates Stadium but we’ve shown we can do well there, so we need to believe we can do it again. We’ve been working hard in training and I’m sure as long as we stay positive we’ll have a chance of getting the win.”  

" We know our strengths and our quality and we need to score. So we will defend as hard as we can and then try to score as much as possible. We need to play with confidence and go for the win ."  

West Ham United are currently 16th in the Premier League and have won just one of their five games since the appointment of manager Graham Potter in January, but Emerson Palmieri believes the club can achieve more under the new boss.  

Emerson Palmieri added : " We need to look at the standings, we know our quality and there are still many games to play, so we are confident of what we can achieve before the end of the season."
