Abdoulaye Doucoure says the coach has given him a lot of confidence and he will continue to work hard to achieve more

Abdoulaye Doucoure said he likes Everton's current spirit and is very grateful to coach David Moyes for his trust in him. He will continue to work hard to make progress and repay the trust that coach David Moyes has given him.

Abdoulaye Doucoure said: "I think we managed to stay ahead in the first half and we managed to control the game. Until the 70th minute, we made a mistake and they scored from a free kick. So it was really difficult to accept because our goal was to win the game and get the three points.  

"But that's how football works, sometimes these things happen and we need to take the pressure off and we need to work harder for the next game."  

Asked why referee Andrew Madeley decided to overturn Everton's initial penalty, Abdoulaye Doucoure said: "We were very clear about that and for us it was just a penalty so we don't understand why it was overturned. But that's the result and we have to learn from it."  

Abdoulaye Doucoure played very well in the match against Manchester United. He contributed a goal and an assist to the team in this game. Abdoulaye Doucoure also said: "I think since the coach David Moyes took office, he has given me a lot of confidence. Therefore, every time I step on the court, I will remember that I have to repay David Moyes."
