Nelson Semedo says the team cannot slow down and must strive to do better

Nelson Semedo has urged his team not to relax and to keep working hard to do better after Wolves' home defeat to Fulham. Nelson Semedo says Wolves still have a lot of work to do if they are to get out of this difficult situation and believes the team needs to improve their focus.  

Nelson Semedo said: "It's a disappointing result, we wanted to get the points which are very important to us. We didn't start well in the first half, my decision was not good enough and we conceded a goal here. So we have to take responsibility for that."  

"After that, we scored a goal and I thought we played well in the first half and created a lot of chances. However, we didn't start the second half very well. Overall, I think our performance was good, but if we want to move up in the standings, we can't stand still and have to do better."  

"We have to give everything we have and try to do our best. We were not focused, not concentrated during the game and this cannot happen again."  

Nelson Semedo added: "I think the start of the first half was very important. We have to make sure we start well, especially when we are at home and in front of the fans and it is a very important game. We lost to Fulham in this game and we have to learn from it and keep working hard to move forward."  

"So we can't slow down now and have to keep going. We played well against Bournemouth but it was also important to win the game. We are five points ahead but it's not enough."  

"We have to keep going and try to get more points, especially when we play at home. We have several important games coming up and we will adjust our mentality, get enough rest and be ready for the next games."
