There is more than a month left before the NBA trade deadline, and Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr revealed that the team will continue to observe the performance of the current roster and keep an open attitude towards trades.
"I talked to the general manager of the team and I think it makes perfect sense," Kerr said before the Golden State Warriors defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 121-113.
"We've had our ups and downs this season, but we like this team and we like the players we have now. We'll see how it goes over the next month and keep the trade option open."
"We're not in a position where we're good enough that we don't need to change. We have to evaluate all our options. For me, it's about seeing what we can do over the next few weeks and hopefully get the rotation settled and get our shooting percentages up."
The Golden State Warriors have won three of their last four games and are looking to win as many games as possible in the championship window of Stephen Curry and Draymond Green. The team is also focusing on developing the future of young players such as Jonathan Kuminga, Brandin Bozimski and Moses Moody.
The Golden State Warriors currently have a record of 18 wins and 16 losses in 34 NBA regular season games, ranking 8th in the Western Conference. The Golden State Warriors have a total of 529 points, 328 points behind the first-place Oklahoma City Thunder.
