Bruno Fernandes: Winning the title is still our goal, we must recover for the next game

Bruno Fernandes, who currently plays for Manchester United, had dreamed of reaching the Wembley FA Cup final for the third consecutive season. However, his dream was shattered when the team was eliminated by Fulham in the fifth round, and now he is aiming for success in the Europa League.  

Bruno Fernandes scored a goal for Manchester United to equalize the score, which was his 90th goal in a Manchester United shirt. In the subsequent penalty shootout, the captain once again stepped up and scored the first goal, but Manchester United could not match the home team's penalty success rate and eventually lost the penalty shootout with a score of 3-4.  

When Bruno Fernandes was asked about his equaliser, he said: "Of course I helped the team to equalise and tried to get back into the game to win the game, but unfortunately it wasn't enough today."  

“We are now looking forward to the rest of the season and we need to focus on the next game and hopefully we can make more progress. After all, competing for a trophy is one of our goals this season.”  

"In the first half we controlled the game and created some chances. In extra time I thought Fulham controlled the game a little more but we had better chances to score but we didn't score. In terms of penalties they were more efficient than us."  

Bruno Fernandes added: "I think our fighting spirit is always there, but unfortunately, the dream of reaching the Wembley final again is no longer possible. Nevertheless, we still need to keep working hard and strive to win in the remaining season."  

"We know that we have had a lot of injuries during this period and we don't have many players. We almost always use the same players for a long time. Now, we need to recover, concentrate and participate in the next game in the best condition."  

"It's going to be a difficult game, Spain are playing very well, with great players up front and quality players at the back. So we need to be in our best form because they will make us run and when we have the ball we have to make them run."
