2025 Global Vanguard Tournament teams confirmed: HLE, TES, KC, Liquid, CFO

On March 3rd local time, the five participating teams of the 2025 Global Pioneer Tournament (First Stand 2025) were finally settled. The details are as follows:

HLE (LCK): Zeus, Peanut, Zeka, Viper, Delight

TES (LPL): 369, Kanavi, Creme, JackeyLove, Crisp

KC (LEC Division): Canna, Yike, Vladi, Caliste, Targamas

Liquid (LTA): Impact, UmTi, APA, Yeon, CoreJJ

CFO (LCP): Rest, Junjia, HongQ, Doggo, Kaiwing

The first Global Pioneer Tournament will be held at LoL PARK in Seoul, South Korea from March 10 to 16. The event will adopt a bilateral Fearless Draft mode, and the winning team will win a place in the 2025 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) for their region.

The Global Pioneer Tournament is divided into a Bo3 round-robin stage and a Bo5 knockout stage. In the round-robin stage, each team will play a best-of-three series with all opponents. In the four-game series, they will have the right to choose the first side in two games, but not in the remaining two games. The specific side selection arrangement will be determined in advance. After the round-robin stage, the team ranked fifth in points will be eliminated, and the top four will advance to the knockout stage.

In the knockout stage, the teams will be matched up based on their round-robin results: first place vs. fourth place, second vs. third place. The winners of the two matches will advance to the finals, where they will compete for the Global Pioneer Championship.
