Kevin Danso: We will try to win every game and end the season in the best way possible

Tottenham Hotspur will face AZ Alkmaar in the first leg of the Europa League last 16, and central defender Kevin Danso expressed some thoughts in the press conference before the game.  

When asked about how he made the recent move to Spurs, Kevin Danso replied: "When a club like Tottenham knocks on the door, I think many people would choose not to say no, and that's why I came here. I think Tottenham is a big club, and we have goals we want to achieve every season, and we hope to continue to make history."  

“With Michy van der Ven and Christian Romero coming back, everyone knows what they have achieved at Tottenham and how good they are. I am really looking forward to the challenge and I will push them and they will push me. There are still many games in the season so we have to keep up the level and work hard in every game to make sure we are always in the best condition.”  

“I always like to think of myself as a warrior, trying to block shots with my body, being an aggressive defender, blocking the opponent’s attack.”  

Kevin Danso also talked about Archie Gray. He said: "Archie Gray is really incredible. He is only 18 years old, but he is so mature when playing football, and even his behavior in the locker room is so mature. Archie Gray is a great player. I think he will continue to make progress. After all, he is only 18 years old."  

“The manager, Ange Postecoglou, spoke to me a little bit before I signed and he just gave me a brief and sweet update on his ideas on how he wanted to play.”  

"I feel like the team wants to finish the season in the best possible way, and I believe it's possible.
