Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca says Benoit Badiaciele and Trevoh Chalobah are ready to return against Copenhagen, while goalkeeper Roberto Sanchez is expected to start for Chelsea.
Benoit Badiaciele has not played for Chelsea since early December, while Trevoh Chalobah missed the Southampton game due to an injury sustained against Aston Villa, but both players are expected to feature against Copenhagen.
At the pre-match press conference, Enzo Maresca said: "Both Benoit Badiaciele and Trevoh Chalobah are ready. Fortunately, Trevoh Chalobah's injury is not serious, so he is fine. As for Benoit Badiaciele, he is back and he has been training with us for the past ten days."
"Wesley Fofana was not in the squad but he is back. Romeo Lavia has started training with us in the last two days and we are slowly getting all the players back, which is very important for the final sprint of the season."
"We've said it several times, our bad times started with a lot of injuries. But now some players have returned and some are still recovering, which is good news for me and the players."
Enzo Maresca also explained why Roberto Sanchez will play for the team against Copenhagen. He said: "Roberto Sanchez will start, I have said it before, I will give him different types of games and help him as much as I can."
