Our website's female rumour monger

Sky Sportsrenowned Italian transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, has once again slammed and slapped the face of our website's female rumour monger "Ms. Planned To", who falsely claimed that Manchester United "targeted" and "planned" to bring in Paris Saint-Germain's Portugal international left-wing back wonderkid Nuno Mendes during the January winter transfer window on Tuesday through his personal paid column.

Romano slammed in the column that his friend, American media outlet CBS Sports' resident renowned transfer journalist, Ben Jacobs, had already exclusively reported at the end of November 2024 that Mendes and his teammate Achraf Hakimi had reached an agreement on extending their contract with Les Parisiens. Obviously, "Ms. Planned To" simply fabricated this fake news out of her own imagination without verifying the former's past reports in advance.

He criticized that there was only one reason why "Ms. Planned To" would link Mendes' name to Manchester United, that is, Mendes and the Red Devils' head coach Ruben Amorim had worked together in their former club Sporting Clube de Portugal, but in fact, apart from still keeping in touch as friends, they had no other approaches.

Romano said that Manchester United did intend to sign a new left-wing back, but the plan was to implement it in the summer transfer window, not this January transfer window.

Restricted by the risk of violating the Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR), Manchester United must sell as many players as possible during this winter transfer window before considering whether to bring in any new players.

These potential players include Victor Lindelof, Antony, Christian Eriksen, Marcus Rashford and Casemiro.

Romano added that the left-wing back that Manchester United really intends to bring in is Bournemouth's Hungary international player Milos Kerkez, who is also pursued by Liverpool, not Mendes.

Since Kerkez and Amorim share the same agent, the Premier League giants are confident that they can successfully sign Kerkez.

It is worth mentioning that Manchester United has never submitted any "offer" to Paris Saint-Germain for Mendes as "Ms. Planned To" has false claimed.

Including this time, this is already the third time that "Ms. Planned To" has been slapped in the face by different people for fabricating fake transfer rumours in three consecutive days, following Alexander-Arnold himself and Jacobs, and she also equalled her embarrassing record of being slapped in the face single every day for several consecutive days!
