The Daily Telegraph: Postecoglu's future is unclear, Iraola and Silva may become potential successors

Andoni Iraola and Marco Silva could be strong contenders to become Tottenham's future manager, The Daily Telegraph exclusively reported on Monday.
Tottenham Hotspur has been in a slump in the Premier League this season, ranking 14th with only 34 points after 29 rounds. They also have a poor record in cup competitions. First, they were defeated 1-4 by Liverpool in the semi-finals of the English League Cup on February 6, and three days later they were eliminated in the fourth round of the FA Cup after losing 1-2 to Aston Villa.
At the same time, the pressure on Tottenham coach Ange Postecoglou to sack continues to increase. The 59-year-old once won the trust of the top management by leading the team to the top five of the Premier League last season, but the current poor performance has made this trust precarious.
The Daily Telegraph clearly pointed out that the Europa League is seen as the key to Postecoglou's job. Tottenham will play two rounds of the Europa League quarter-finals on April 10 and 17 against Bundesliga powerhouse Frankfurt. If the results do not meet expectations, the possibility of a coaching change at Tottenham will increase significantly.
The newspaper further stated that Bournemouth manager Andoni Iraola and Fulham manager Marco Silva are both considered potential replacements for Postecoglou. Iraola has performed well this season. Under his leadership, Bournemouth is currently competing for European qualification and advancing to the FA Cup quarter-finals. Although Bournemouth intends to renew his contract, Iraola is reportedly open to coaching Tottenham. On the other hand, Bournemouth owner Bill Forry confirmed that he will discuss the future with Iraola during his visit to the UK next month.
Similar to Iraola, Silva's contract will last until June 2026. His release clause is £6 million, and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham or other clubs are willing to pay it.
