FPX e-sports club released an announcement, announcing that Zou Wei (ID: Assum), a former member of EDG's League of Legends division, has officially joined the team. He will replace Gao Jun (ID: bat), who left the team on the same day, as AD, and will join the team in the second stage of the 2025 LPL.
The announcement reads: “After full and friendly communication and consultation between the club and myself, we are pleased to announce that player Zou Wei (ID: Assum) will join FPX as AD and will join us in future games.
The vast river is white in the spring tide, and the long mountain is green in the morning. On the field, he is a calm and steady fortune-teller, waiting for the victory to end after a perfect curtain call; he is also an ice archer who strikes the sky with precision and decides the outcome with one arrow; he is also the solemn waning moon with guns and cannons rotating, shedding its light in the night. He has accumulated rich experience in the three years of fighting, and has always been constantly breaking through himself with the spirit of excellence and diligence.
Welcome Assum to join the Little Phoenix family! In the new stage, let us ride the wind and waves together, hold the torch and move forward, and the journey will never stop! Come on! "
Assum, 22, is a Chinese professional League of Legends player who mainly plays AD. He joined WBG's predecessor Suning E-Sports Club (SUNING) as a youth trainee in 2019 and transferred to LGD E-Sports Club in June 2022.
As he failed to qualify for the playoffs, Assum moved to RA Esports Club in December 2022. He then represented the RA team in two Demacia Cups, one LPL Spring and Summer Seasons.
