Domantas Sabonis sprains ankle, will be out for at least 10 days


Domantas Sabonis suffered a cut over his left eye against the Memphis Grizzlies and exited the game after spraining his ankle in the third quarter of the contest.  

 

The Sacramento Kings announced that Domantas Sabonis will be out for at least 10 days due to a sprained ankle. Domantas Sabonis sprained his ankle in the third quarter of a loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.  

 

During this game, Luke Kennard hit Domantas Sabonis in the face with the back of his head, causing a cut over his left eye.  

 

Domantas Sabonis missed five games in early March due to a left hamstring injury he suffered against the Houston Rockets.  

 

The Sacramento Kings are two games ahead of the Dallas Mavericks in ninth place and three games ahead of the Phoenix Suns in 11th place. The Sacramento Kings are about to start a six-game homestand but will end the season by playing six of their final nine games on the road.
